Services & Capabilities
CNC Machining
We specialize in CNC machining at KAL Machining - from CNC turning to CNC milling with four axis we have the capability to bring your designs to life. Over the years we have manufactured parts for Fortune 500 companies in the aerospace, medical, defense, and semiconductor industries. These orders range in complexity and various phases throughout the product design life-cycle whether it is initial prototyping or high-production runs.
We work with a range of materials including but not limited to:
6061/7075-T6 Aluminum;
Steel Alloys (303, 316, 17-4, & etc.);
Copper & Brass Alloys;
Titanium Alloys; and
Plastics (Delrin, Ultem, PEEK, Nylon, Acetal, & etc.)
All of our material is procured from trusted USA vendors and material certifications are available upon request.
Industrial Finishing
We partner with trusted ISO 9001:2015 certified suppliers to ensure finishing specifications are of the highest quality. Our suppliers offer a range of finishes including but not limited to:
Anodize Type II (colored or clear);
Anodize Type III “Hard Anodize” (colored or clear);
Alodines or Chemfilms;
Electroless Nickel;

& Quality Assurance
Quick-turn R&D can be stressful and occasionally some features will be overlooked. Our team identifies any features that may create bottlenecks during the machining process and corresponds with you to gain a better understanding of the end-products use case and provide feedback for future/on-the-fly design changes. These insights into minor design changes can create huge cost savings and reduce lead time before a major production cycle beings.
Our internal quality assurance procedures ensure that parts coming off the machines are within your specifications before they get too far down the value stream. Leveraging two coordinate measuring systems (“CMMs”) we can detect deviance as small as 0.1 µm for tight call-outs. Additionally our staff are trained to use handheld measuring tools and height gauges to adhere to AQLs for high volume orders. This training combined with an ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System (“QMS”) prevents defective parts from being shipped and puts counter-measures in place should you ever receive defective parts.
